Kuala Lumpur

The next day was not so happy, I was very hung over and not feeling well. However it did not hit me until the afternoon that the reason I had such a bad headache wasn't alcohol but the fact that I had toothache. There wasn't anything I could do about that.
I spoke to Darren that afternoon and he wouldn't be able to join me in KL. I was so down and had really thought that I would be seeing him in the near future. I couldn't handle the disappointment and so decided that I would go home and see him. I went to the airline office and booked a flight to London for the next day, Friday July 3rd. The rest of that Thursday was spent checking my bag, throwing stuff away and making sure that I would be hydrated enough for the flight the next day.
Friday morning, caught the monorail to the train station, got the bus to the airport and got my flight to the UK. My bag only weighed 13kg, I think that's only the 2nd time that I've had such light luggage. The flight went really smoothly, helped by me having a row of seats to myself. I landed at Stansted at around 11pm and then had to wait 15 minutes to get through immigration and a further 20 minutes before the luggage came out. I've have never lost a bag (touch wood) when flying but if my bag takes a while to turn up on the baggage belt I always think that I've lost it and will have no clothes for my holiday. The bag turned up and then I had an hour wait for my coach. The coach trip was another 2 hours, some of which I slept through, then I arrived in Coventry at 3am. The timing was perfect for the bars / clubs closing and I was worried about getting a cab. I needn't have worried, got a cab immediately and arrived at Darrens. Dumped the bag and went to sleep. I was back in the UK.
