Kuala Lumpur - the return

The bus dropped me off at KL Sentral and it was a short walk to Prema's hotel. In a matter of minutes she was in the lobby and we were hugging. She had a lovely room of the 24th floor and for me, it was straight in the shower. Every time after flying I always feel so grubby, even after a short flight, so the shower was very welcome. We then got ready to go out, Prema had the evening planned. We had dinner with a friend of hers, Chuck, who didn't mind too much that we were about 30 mins late. We had some awesome Indian food, which was fantastic and a nice change from the Malay food I had been eating in Kuching. Then it was to an Italian cafe for some Tirimisu, which was also fantastic. We were joined by another of Prema's friends, Hakim and he would go clubbing with us. Chuck left us and the 3 of us headed to Zouk. Going to Zouk brought a smile to my face as Prema and I had partied in Zouk in Singapore when we had last got together, so it was only right that we return. The queue moved quickly and soon we were inside and dancing away. Once we started, we didn't stop and we all had a good time. The music was good, the people friendly and it was like I partied with Prema every weekend, instead of once every 3 years. We got back to the hotel and fell into bed about 5am. Not a bad first night.
We got up around 9am the next morning, not bad considering the time we had gone to bed. I had a shower and then in my bathrobe (luckily) went and opened the curtains. I got the shock of my life when I saw a man outside the window, I was a little confused as we were on the 24th floor. We looked at each other and waved.
